When the PVC conduit or pipe becomes pliable, remove the heater and bend by hand.EASY AND EFFICIENTThe heater temperature is maintained by an internal, automatic thermostat that allows for the heater to get to temperature quickly but will not allow the heater to go above 145° C (~300°F). Bending a schedule 40 PVC 1/2 inch pipe at a 90° angle can be accomplished in as little as 3 to 4 minutes! Bending a 4-inch diameter, schedule 80 PVC pipe can be done with the largest of the heaters in as little as 12 minutes!
